Don't know why this place doesn't have a Michelin star, it was some of the best food we had anywhere in France. Everything was so deliciously complex and I am still dreaming about the shrimp. We started with foie gras in a broth which I was apprehensive about because it was so hot while we were there, but it was outstanding. Even the strawberry dessert blew us away. Mitch himself waited on us and couldn't have been nicer. If you are in Aix, you MUST go here.

Glad we did. The lezl started with an amuse bouche with sauce.
I chose the first course of foie gras with soft boiled egg on toast and my friend order the fish appetizer.Both were delicious . We both ordered the doraudo fish dish with sauce and veggies. For dessert she had the lemon eclair and I ordered the mango , pineapple panda cotta. Wow! Delicious meal, great Provençal rosé, Excellent service! -

Nice presentations of food... small servings on the pre-fixe menu, but it will fill you up. You can also pick the same dishes a la carte in bigger portions.
They have some outdoor seating, your mileage will very depending on how busy it is that night so assume it will be a quiet outdoor seating.
The service is very attentive and they do a good job of explaining the menu and dishes. All the staff speaks english.
Desserts look nice, but adding sorbet to a dessert kills it for me... I would order a la carte and skip the dessert. -

Just amazing.
The owner was frazzled that we asked for a table without a reservation but we did get a table in the beautiful cellar. We had a refreshing pastis appetizer. The food was delicious and great service. The wine selection was very nice. Our best meal in Aix.
